Latest Nigeria Foreign Trade; Imports vs Exports

Data from the National Bureau of Statistics reveals Nigeria’s total foreign trade was N23,160,997.1 million for the year ended December 2017 compared to N17,344,988.7 million for the year ended December 2016.

Total Imports

Total trade imports for the year ended December 2017 was N9,562,719.8 million. This compares to N8,817,557.7 million for the year ended December 2016.

Fourth quarter imports were N2.1 trillion compared to N2.4 trillion in the third quarter of 2017.

million. This compares to N8,527,430.994 million for the year ended December 2016.

Fourth quarter exports were N3.9 trillion compared to N4.5 trillion in the third quarter of 2017.
