China is arguably the fastest growing economy in the world growing at double digits yearly. Popular cities like Shangai (China’s largest), Beijing, Guangzhou come to mind. China is also known for its vast and modern infrastructures with super fast railways, skyscrapers and shopping malls. A lot of these were built over the last 30 years and has been done at a pace never been seen before. A common drawback of having such a rapid development in that much time is a real estate clog. Too many apartment, office blocks and shopping malls that end up unused. People refer to these as the ghost malls of China. See some pictures I got from google.
