The National Bureau of Statistics published its External Trade Report last week showing Nigeria exported goods worth a total of N2.3 trillion an increase of 29% over the previous quarter.
Oil topped the list of exports with about N1.9 trillion for the quarter while non-oil exports was N344 billion. A critical component of non-oil exports was Agriculture related products. Though very little when compared to Oil, this is perhaps where Nigeria still has room and potential for growth.
