The Federal Government has been advised to give Nigerian air travellers multiple payment options, rather than insisting on naira payment.
The National Association of Nigeria Travel Agencies (NANTA) has called on the Federal the FCCPC to intervene on the issue of high fares charged by foreign airlines
The NANTA boss explained how the lukewarm attitude, unfair practices by the FG and foreign airlines led to over $500 million of foreign airlines' funds being trapped in Nigeria.
They said foreign airlines have also stopped local travel agents from issuing tickets, to reduce the amount of money that would be trapped in Nigeria.
