The management of Landmark Beach said it is seeking compensation from the Federal Government over the demolition of its properties estimated at N42 billion in total.
The demolition of Landmark Beach Resort in Oniru, Victoria Island, due to its encroachment on the right-of-way of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway, commenced today, Monday, April 29, 2024, following the official start of the demolition of properties along the coastal highway corridor on Saturday.
The Federal Government has started the demolition of a segment of some beaches in Lagos, specifically the Mami Chula Beach Lifestyle section, to facilitate the construction of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway.
