A Nigerian Academy, Tezza, and Accra Institute of Technology (AIT) from Ghana are in talks for a partnership to train more people from both countries to address the digital skills shortage in Africa.

The NBC has sanctioned three major Nigerian television stations over their reportage of recent unrest across the country.
The Abuja Federal High court has affirmed that the Independent Television (AIT) and Ray Power Stations be shut down indefinitely. The ruling was passed on Friday by Justice Inyang Ekwo, who rejected two prayers by DAAR Communications PLC, for restraining orders against the respondents – NBC, Federal Ministry of Information and Culture (FMIC) and the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF).
Africa Independent Television (AIT) is currently not broadcasting anything because the operating licence of Daar Communications Plc (which owns the TV station), was suspended yesterday by the NBC. 
There was a time when every discourse about independent radio and TV broadcasting in Nigeria revolved around this company.
