The Board of Directors of Nigerian Aviation Handling Company Plc (NAHCO Aviance), has approved the appointment of Olatokunbo Adenike Fagbemi as Acting Group Managing Director of the company.
In a notification to the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE), the company made known that Fagbemi replaces Idris Yakubu who resigned from the company on December 20, 2018.
Fagbemi’s appointment took effect from the same day Yakubu resigned.
About Olatokunbo Adenike Fagbemi
Olatokunbo Adenike Fagbemi is an Airports Council International (ACI) and International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) certified International Airport Professional (IAP). She is one of the few African women to have achieved the highly rigorous standards for expertise in the field of airport management.
In addition to her IAP Certification, Fagbemi holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from IESE (Instituto de Estudios Superiores de la Empresa), University of Nevara, Spain. She also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy from the University of Ibadan. Fagbemi also attended Maryhill Convent School, Ibadan, Queens School, Ibadan, Harvard University, USA, and Cranfield University in the United Kingdom – where she got her Certificates in Air Transport Management, Airport Commercial Revenue Development.
She holds a Certificate in Leaders in Development and Infrastructure in a Market Economy from Kennedy School of Government (KSG), Harvard University. She is a IATA certified Leasing Professional, an expert in Infrastructure Provision and Public-Private Partnerships. She has facilitated several training programmes for Airport Council International (ACI), several Airlines, Ground Handling Companies and the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA). Fagbemi is also an alumnus of the Lagos Business School (LBS).
She has had the privilege of working and training in various aspects of Airport Management, Passenger Handling, Ramp Handling and Cargo Handling at Dubai International Airport, Changi Airport in Singapore, Murtala Muhammed International Airport Ikeja and Dallas Fort Worth Airport amongst others. Fagbemi has hands-on Consulting, Business Advisory and Financing expertise, having worked with several Ground Handling companies, Civil Aviation Authority in Nigeria, the Gambia and Sierra Leone.
She is an Executive Director of Spring fountain Infrastructure Limited and the Managing Director of the African Aircraft Leasing Company (AALC).

NAHCO Aviance is a diversified company with interests in aviation cargo, aircraft handling, passenger facilitation, crew transportation and aviation training. It reported a turnover of ₦4.6 billion in its half-year 2018 financial report compared to ₦3.7 billion reported in the same period last year.
