Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has reiterated his commitment to ensuring the peaceful co-existence of all Nigerians in Lagos State irrespective of tribe, religion and creed.

He made the call following his visit to Fagba, Ifako-Ijaiye Local Government Area of Lagos State, to assess the aftermath of a recent tribal clash in the area.

Confirming this recent development is a tweet by TVC News. Speaking to correspondents of the aforementioned media, the Governor revealed that the objective of his visit is to see the level of damage emanating from the recent tribal clash, and to calm residents with promises of government assistance.

In addition, the Governor advised the residents to be peaceful and resist the urge to take laws into their own hands.

Recall that recently, there was a clash between some ethnic groups believed to be majorly Yorubas and Hausas at Fagba, Ifako-Ijaiye Local Government Area of Lagos as reported by most dailies.
