One of Nigeria’s leading consumer finance institution, Renmoney has appointed Oluwatobi Boshoro as its new Chief Executive Officer.

Following her appointment as Renmoney’s new CEO, Tobi expressed her excitement over the opportunity to significantly empower under-banked individuals.

“I am thrilled to be part of an organisation which is passionate about leveraging data and technology to enable individuals to achieve their dreams.

Speaking on Tobi’s appointment, Kieran Donnelly, Chairman, Renmoney Board of Directors said Boshoro’s experience in driving innovation and excellent service delivery will be critical to the company’s success.

Oluwatobi Boshoro’s Profile

Tobi is an innovative and transformational leader with broad-based expertise in business strategy, digital payments/strategy, marketing, brand management and business development with over 15 years of experience.

She has explored her proven ability to analyse key business drivers, deliver key business insights and develop strategies to deliver bottom-line growth, business expansion and market share growth in highly competitive markets and high turnaround environments.

Prior to her appointment, Tobi served as the Head of Digital Strategy, Issuing and Service Management at Stanbic IBTC.

The new Renmoney CEO had also headed Stanbic IBTC’s Electronic Banking and Digital Strategy units at various times, where she was responsible for the digital transformation of the bank.

Between 2008 and 2014, Tobi held senior positions at the Interswitch Group, including Group Head of Issuer Management.

She is an alumnus of the prestigious Harvard Business School, having completed multiple Executive Management programmes, including the General Management Programme in 2013. Boshoro also holds a M.Sc. Strategic Marketing degree from Cranfield University’s School of Management and a B.Sc. in Economics from the Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ogun State.

Tobi is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK and The Market Research Society, UK, with experience in Oil and Gas, FMCG, Electronic Payments and Banking, with proven multi-million dollar growth working with teams in various financial institutions and electronic payment organisations within Nigeria and across multiple markets in Africa.
