In a notice sent to the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) today, Beta Glass Plc announced the appointment of Seun Oni as an Independent Director.
Seun Oni has a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics which she obtained from the University of Lagos in 1989. She also participated in various management and Leadership programmes at the Lagos Business School, University of Pennyslvania and the IMD Business School.
Oni worked as a Senior consultant with Pricewaterhouse Coopers from 1991-1999. She then worked in the Africa Group SBU unit of the Coca Cola Company from June 2004-May 2005 and the Division Finance Controller for Nigeria and Equitorial Africa from April 2005-September 2007. She is currently the Country Chief Financial Officer for the Coca Cola Hellenic Company, a position she has held since March 2014.
She is also a member of the Institute of Directors, Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), and Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN). Seun Oni has kids.
Beta Glass Plc is involved in the manufacturing and sales of hollow glassware. The company has two plants in Agbara Ogun State and Ughelli Delta State. In addition, it also exports its products to several African countries. The company began operations on the 26th of June 1974 and was listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange(NSE) in 1986.
