EFCC  Interrogates OBJ’s Minister of Finance

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) yesterday arrested former Minister of Finance, Senator Esther Nenadi Usman.

Usman was alleged to have received N2.5bn out of the over N4bn transferred out of the Central Bank into various individual’s and companies’ accounts.

You may recall that Senator Usman was the Director of Finance of the PDP presidential campaign organisation in 2015.

It is believed that all funds disbursed during the PDP campaign exercise were disbursed from Senator Usman’s office as Director of Finance.

Operatives of the EFCC are interrogating the former minister based on billions of naira found in her bank account when she was a serving senator.
