Captain Fola Akinkuotu has been appointed by the board of Aero Contractors as the substantive Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of the group.
According to Thisday,the busiest home based airline revealed in a statement that, Akinkuotu was appointed, following the second phase of reformation process taking place within the company to enhance the overall management and bring better service to their customers.
His Achievements
i. The former Director General of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) is a seasoned aircraft engineer.
ii. Akinkuotu is a qualified Licenced Aircraft Engineer
iii. Airline Transport Pilot Licenced with type ratings on several commercial jet airplanes
iv. Turbo Jet Licenced Flight Engineer and Associate Member of Society of Licensed Aircraft Engineers and Technologists with Certificate in Total Quality Management from Lagos Business School.
v. Type Rating Instructor B737 from Oxford Aviation Academy, United Kingdom.
Notable of his achievements was In 1998, when he was given the honour of flying Pope John Paul II all through the Papal’s visit to Nigeria.
