SERAP has sued Nigerian governors and FCT minister over FAAC Allocation.
The Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) has initiated a lawsuit against the Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited, citing the company’s inability to account for and clarify the location of the purported missing $2.04 billion and N164 billion in oil revenues.
The Federal High Court has been asked to restrain the diversion of budgetary allocation by lawmakers.

The Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) has called on the Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited to provide an account and clarification regarding the alleged disappearance of USD$2.04 billion and N164 billion in oil revenues within a span of seven days.
SERAP has urged President Bola Tinubu “to direct the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice Mr Lateef Fagbemi, SAN, and appropriate anti-corruption agencies to promptly probe the allegations that $3.4 billion loan obtained from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) is missing, diverted or unaccounted for.”

The Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) has filed a lawsuit against the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) over the “failure to disclose details of Nigeria’s daily oil production, exportation and the total amounts of revenues generated from oil since the removal of subsidy on petrol in May 2023.”
