Justice Emeka Nwite ordered a bench warrant for Kuje Correctional Centre's medical doctor for failing to produce a medical report.
Residents in the FCT were woken up by sporadic gunshots and reported bomb blasts as gunmen tried to break into the Kuje prison in Abuja, on Tuesday night.
