Temitope Fadeshemi, the Permanent Secretary at Nigeria's Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security, has reported that a staggering 88.4 million Nigerians are currently grappling with extreme poverty.
Exposure to internet coverage after over three years triggered a 7% reduction in extreme poverty in Nigeria and Tanzania, according to the World Bank.
By 2050, about 152 million Nigerians will be extremely poor.
