Parents of students at King’s College Lagos (KCL) have expressed concerns over a suspected diphtheria outbreak in the school, which has reportedly led to the hospitalization of several students.
In response to the escalating diphtheria outbreak in Nigeria, the European Union (EU) has pledged €1,000,000 (N847 million) in humanitarian funding.
The FG says Kano is officially the epicentre of the diphtheria outbreak as it is responsible for more than 84% (7,188) of the confirmed cases.
