Global smartphone brand OPPO is the official photography sponsor of the Lagos Fashion Week 2021

  • OPPO is taking a leading role in photography and videography the fashion industry in Nigeria as Fashion meets Technology at at the Lagos Fashion Week.

Global Smartphone brand OPPO takes the Nigerian fashion industry by storm as it becomes the Official Photography Partner of Lagos Fashion Week #OPPOxLagosFW2021.

This marks the first time OPPO will be showcasing its innovative photography capabilities and products to audiences in Nigeria after its appearance at Big Brother Naija 2020 as headline sponsors. This is also the first time for the brand to activate its Reno5 series to key leaders in the fashion industry.

Lagos Fashion Week (LagosFW21) began this year with the announcement of the green access finalist announcement and brunch. OPPO was live at the event to preserve the memories and capture the event #ShotonOPPO using Reno 5 Series.

This year’s Fashion Week started off with virtual events from the 27th to 28th of October while the physical runway show holds today, 29th and 30th of October 2021, showcasing amazing collections from select designers. Lagos Fashion Week Green Access finalists will also showcase their sustainable collections.

According to Jennifer Okorhi, Marketing Manager – OPPO Nigeria, “OPPO’s global vision is to elevate life through technological artistry.” Capturing the physical Lagos Fashion Week shows with OPPO flagship smartphone (Reno 5 Series) in low light hall and a packed-hall of people using Reno 5 mobile phone to capture runway shows, street style and the overall Fashion Week event clearly shows OPPO’s mobile photography capabilities to deliver professional photography #ShotonOPPO.

“This year, our focus is to boldly demonstrate the photography and videography features of OPPO’s flagship mobile phone,” says Jennifer. “As the official photography partner, we have created a Reno photography studio set to capture and preserve beautiful memories, there also, live showcase and display of Reno 5 | Reno 5F series.”
Lagos Fashion Week’s goal of facilitating and supporting sustainability are aligned with OPPO’s aim to “be a sustainable brand that contributes to a better world”.

This edition features Award-Winning Photographer, Tope Adenola as OPPO’s Official photographer to capture all #ShotonOPPO photographs for the Lagos Fashion Week 2021.
