The National Assembly will today formally hand over details of the 2016 budget to President Muhammadu Buhari.
Yesterday, both Chairmen of the Senate and House of Representatives committees on appropriation had submitted budget details to the Clerk to the National Assembly.
Chairman of the House committee on appropriation Hon. Abdulmumin Jibrin (APC, Kano) while briefing newsmen, said the Clerk would forward the details to the president as soon as possible.
You may recall that both chambers of the National Assembly last week, said that the budget details would be ready in one or two weeks after its passage on Wednesday, March 23.
