The long awaited list of Ministers for the Buhari administration is expected to be finally unveiled on Tuesday by the National Assembly. The President had promised to release the list on or before the last day of September. He however, did so on the last day of the month but stopped short of revealing who and who made the list. The list was submitted to the National Assembly as confirmed by the Senate President Bukola Saraki.
Nigerians have mostly been frustrated with the delay in announcing a cabinet suggesting that it is one of the major reasons why the economy is on a standstill.
Finally, the list which we understand is sealed will be opened today on the floor of the National Assembly. We will be tracking the unveiling on the floor of the National Assembly and update this page as things unfold.
Senate President, Bukola Saraki has announced to the Senators 21 ministerial nominees.They were contained in the list forwarded to him last week Wednesday, September 30 by President Muhammadu Buhari.
Senate President Saraki opened the sealed envelope at 10:45am announcing the following names as the initial 15 nominated as Ministers.

- Dr. Osagie Ehaneri
- Emmanuel Kachukwu
- Dr. Kayode Fayemi
- Eng. Suleiman Adamu
- Mrs. Kemi Adeosun

Senator Saraki who disclosed that the Senate would commence screening, Tuesday 13, said that President Buhari had told him that subsequent names would come shortly.
