Computer Warehouse Group released its 2014 Q1 results showing earnings per share rise of 40kobo compared to a loss of N3.92 a year earlier. The company grew its revenues by 17% to N3.5billion during the period compared to N3billion. Year earlier.
However, cost of sales sliced of more than 80% of revenue this year posting a gross profit of N679million. Operating expenses also took off N670million from the Gross profit leaving the company with only N9million as operating profit.
Pre-tax profits after finance cost and other income was N1omillion compared to N99million loss a year earlier. Profit margin was thus a paltry 0.3%.
