This is great news for the people of the ancient city if Benin. However, it will be interesting to see how this benefits shareholders.

Edo State Governor, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole on Friday, lauded Guinness Nigeria Plc. for investing about N35bn in expanding the capacity of its Benin Brewery. Comrade Oshiomhole described the company as a valued private sector partner with the best interest of the people and government of Edo State at heart. He attributed the increased inflow of investment into the state from the company, to a great extent, to the enabling environment created in the state through focused and visionary leadership.
