The exchange rate for cargo clearance has dropped below the prevailing official and parallel market rate to N1,164.84 to the dollar according to the latest update on the Nigeria Customs Service’s (NCS) exchange rate portal.
The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS)’s exchange rate for import duties collection has risen by 11.0% from N1150/$ to N1277.52/$, according to the latest update on the customs exchange rate window.
The foreign exchange rate for the Nigeria Customs Services’ (NCS) cargo clearance in ports and other goods entry points has dropped to N1260.49/$ from N1330/$ in the past few days.
The current exchange rate for customs import duties and cargo clearance payment is higher than the official foreign exchange market rate of the Naira and the USD.  
The Central Bank of Nigeria has reduced the exchange rate for cargo clearance at Customs area command to N1572.50 from N1593.41 just two days ago. This represents a drop of N20.91 in just a few days.
The exchange rate for cargo clearance has dropped to N1593.41/$ from N1612.28/$ recorded last week representing a drop of about N18.87. 
The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has raised the exchange rate for customs clearance at ports from N1537.07 to N1605.82 per USD.
The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has raised the exchange rate for the clearance of goods from N1444.56/$ to N1515.09 against the USD, marking an increase of N70.53 compared to the prior rate.
The Nigerian Customs Service (NCS) has increased the exchange rate for the for the clearance of goods by 42.7% from N951.94/$ to N1356.88/$.
The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has adjusted the exchange rate for cargo clearance from N783/$ to N952/$ representing a 22.8% increase.
