Oando’s released its 2013 Full year result and 2014 Q1 and H1 results earlier today and I am yet to fully digest the results in its entirety. However, one quarter that sticks out is the 2014Q2 (April to June 2014). The result is mind blowing considering the huge jump in margins. The company posted a massive N12.5billion in pre-tax profits that quarter the highest in the last 10 quarters and 80% of 2012 and 2013 pre-tax profits combined.
In fact, this charts more than anything else depicts this surge.
The key factor here was the gross profit margin during the quarter. The company earned N33 for every N100 in revenue as Gross profit almost double industry sector. I am licking my lips already here.
