A Twitter feud might be rising between two travel agencies in Nigeria, Wakanow and Travelstart.
In a tweet by Twitter, the microblog tweeted asking users to tweet ‘hi’ to people they don’t know under its comment section.

A Nigerian based travelling agency, Wakanow in response, mentioned Travelstart (another travel agency), something that insinuated that the former doesn’t know the later.
Travelstart threw a GOT styled shade: Responding to Wakanow, Travelstart clapped back, shading the brand as they introduced themselves as the best, the only travel agency that pays their staff on time and boasted about having a website that loads timely, unlike their counterpart.
Hi @Wakanowdotcom 👋You claim not to know us so let's remind you. We are Travelstart, First of Her Name, Queen of Online Travel Agents in Africa, Curator of Cheap Flight Prices, Timely Payer of ALL Staff Salaries & Champion of a Fast Loading Website. You can bend the knee now😊

WakaNow is yet to respond to this shade. Many of its customers feel like the swipe by Travelstart was a big one on them.
My chest. @TravelstartNG small play you carried armored tank to scatter everywhere.

Wakanow should probably consider taking a break for some weeks to recover from this roasting.
One or two therapy sessions would also come in handy

Tweet wars didn’t start now: It seems brand trolling is the new way brands are using to create awareness around their products and services. Competition exists and each brand wants to be identified as the best and sometimes they take it to social media.
Last year, tier two lender, Sterling Bank Plc subtly started a Tweet War that saw GTBank, FirstBank, Zenith Bank, FCMB, Access Bank, Union Bank at the receiving end.
As if that wasn’t enough, Sterling Bank resumed its bank wars, this year. In a tweet from its official handle, it subtly took a dig at tier one lender, Access Bank Plc, following the conclusion of its marathon held in Lagos.
Though Sterling Bank eventually pulled down the tweet in question and apologised, after it was accused of demarketing.
