Share on FacebookShare on TwitterShare on Linkedin

Bank services have gone beyond brick and mortar into fitting right in the pocket of customers, thanks to technology advancement. In this era of digital banking, some banks are still clinging unto a one-directional route, despite the opportunities offered by technology to ease bank transactions.

They might have joined the digital age, but their customers still have limited options to bank on. However, GTBank is proving one road doesn’t lead to the market.

This is where GTBank stands out, spreading its tentacles across the digital space through two mobile apps: GTBank mobile app and GTWorld, just to ensure its customers are well covered and not left hanging for a minute.

GTBank Apps: Enabling customers to transact with ease

You wonder why this matters? Customer behaviour is changing. Gradually, customers are tilting towards the new innovation of technology: mobile apps. From physical structure to USSD code to internet banking (but who still uses this though?), now banks and their services are just an app away because customers are beginning to find filling paperwork or typing several numbers uncomfortable.

This change birthed banking app in the financial industry, with banks releasing their app products to meet this need. But for app lovers, ask yourself, if your bank’s app experiences a downtime, is there a backup or substitute? And if there is, then you are a GTBank customer.

To drive the point home, while other banks depend on one mobile app each, GTBank provides two: GTBank mobile app and GTWorld, giving its customers options during downtime, and ensuring transactions continue without a hitch.

GTBank covering all angles: GTBank mobile app and GTWorld can be swapped for each other as they offer same services, which means when one is not available, the other serves as a backup without any glitch in service.

With the two mobile apps, GTBank account holders can make transactions of all kinds, from fund transfers to bill payment, to airtime and data bundle purchase, school payment, confirming and managing your cheques, requesting for account statement, blocking your lost or stolen card, as well as sports & gaming. Customers are also alerted to new features through the In-App messages, get quick tips and promotional offers; all on both apps.

In addition to the essence of these apps, a non-GTBank account holder can use GTBank Mobile Money – which can be switched to from the GTBank mobile app – to make payment and transfer money to family and friends, by just registering your phone number, which will serve as your Wallet ID (account number).

You can also request for Quick Credit through the apps without having to visit any GTBank branch in Nigeria. Whether you are a salary earner or self-employed, you can get cash to the tune of N5 million at an interest rate of 1.33% on the GTBank apps.

Amazing stuff right? That shows how much GTBank is utilising the potential of technology – expanding its functionality to enable its customers experience seamless transactions.
