Konga opens new stores in Lagos, Abuja, Uyo, Rivers, Warri, others

A foremost e-commerce giant, Konga has spread its tentacles to grow the list of retail stores across Nigeria as it commissioned outlets in Lagos, Abuja, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State; Port Harcourt, Rivers State, and Warri, Delta State.

As Nigeria’s only omnichannel retail superstructure, the retail stores would enable the e-commerce firm to offer quicker delivery and multiple fulfilment options such as Pay on Collect and Pay and Pick Up to its growing database of customers.

The new stores, according to Vice President, Konga Retail, Kalu Johnson, would function as additional ingestion locations for the over 200,000 sellers on the Konga platform.

He added that the Konga retail store acts as a collection point for orders placed online. “Also, the store serves as an ordering centre where shoppers can walk in and place orders for items that are not physically available in-store.
