The Nigerian Stock Exchange turned green, after three consecutive days of losses this week. The All Share Index ended today’s session at 30,883.50 basis points, up 0.01%.

Year to date, the index is down 1.90% 

Top Gainers and Losers 

C and I Leasing Plc was the best performing stock today. The stock gained 9.90% in today’s trading session to close at N7.99. NASCON Allied Industries Plc gained 9.89% to close at N20.  Presco Plc rounds up the top three gainers for the day, appreciating by 9.68% to close at N68.  

On the flip side, Sovereign Trust Insurance was the worst performing stock today. The stock fell by 9.09% to close at N0.20. Union Bank declined by 7.04% to close at N6.60. AIICO Insurance Plc rounds up the top three losers for the day, declining by 5.33% to close at N0.71.  

Top Trades by Volume 

Wema Bank Plc was the most actively traded stock today. 1.7 billion shares valued at N1.2 billion were traded in 74 deals. Chams Plc was next with 99.5 million shares valued at N19.9 million traded in 60 deals. UBA Plc rounds up the top three gainers for the day with 17.3 million shares valued at N133 million traded in 275 deals.
