FBN Holdings announce new appointments for its subsidiaries

The management of First Bank Nigeria FBN Holdings has announced some new appointments.

The management announced Olawale Ariyibi as Chairman of the Board, FBNQuest Capital Ltd.

Ariyibi brings a combined 23 years of experience in banking and allied financial services, business assurance, tax management, business process review and consulting across several institutions.

He is currently the Chief Finance Officer (CFO) at FBN Holdings Plc.

Before this appointment, he was CFO at Transnational Corporation of Nigeria Plc (Transcorp) and Country Financial Controller at Standard Chartered Bank, Nigeria.

The management also announced Tijanni Borodo as Chairman of the Board, FBNQuest Trustees Ltd.

He comes on board with over 24 years experience in the legal and financial services industry.

Borodo a seasoned solicitor who honed his expertise by participating in various professional courses both locally and internationally, including Company Direction Seminar by Lagos Business School.

He holds Directorship positions spanning over two decades on the Boards of several companies among which are

He is currently a Director on the Board of In-sourcing Nigeria Limited and a Director of the Society for Corporate Governance Nigeria (SCGN).

FBN Holdings is the holding company for First Bank of Nigeria (FBN) and its former subsidiaries.

It recently launched a three-year medium-term strategic plan aimed at extracting significant synergies from the group with a view to enhancing returns to shareholders.

FBNQuest Trustees is a subsidiary of FBNQuest Capital and acts as a custodian of assets, offering Corporate, Private and Public Trust services.
