Med-View Airlines will be flying 3 new international routes soon

In a notice released to the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) today, Med-View Airlines has announced the expansion of her operations to Abidjan, Conakry and Dakar. The inaugural flight for the new route is scheduled for October 27, 2017. Medview will also be commencing operations to Dubai by December 2017.

Med-View’s continental routes include Accra, Monrovia and Freetown. The airline also flies to London, and Jeddah. Domstic routes the airline covers include Abuja, Yola, Kaduna, Maiduguri, Kano, Enugu and Port Harcourt

Med-View airlines commenced charter operations in 2007 and domestic operations in November 2012 with a fleet of (2) Boeing 737-400 aircraft at inception and added another (1) Boeing 737-800 just a month after. Med-View listed 9.7 billion shares at N1.50 per share on the 31st of January 2017.

Results for the half year ended June 2017, show gross revenue increased from N8.7 billion in 2016 to N13.0 billion in 2017. Profit before tax also increased from N678 million in 2016 to N945 million in 2017. Med-View shares are currently trading at N1.59 in today’s trading session on the NSE.
