Nigeria Breweries Plc (NB) has reported officially that its suppliers, TMDK Oil traders has written a petition against that has instigated a summon of some of Nigerian breweries senior officials by the Nigerian Police Force.

According to the press release (see below), Nigerian Breweries explained that TMDK participated in a recent tender process for supply of petroleum products to NB. While the process was on-going, TMDK wrote a letter to NB complaining of some bias against it. The complaint was handled and investigated by NB’s internal audit department and the conclusion was that the tender process was duly followed and no irregularities were found. Other claims relation to extra costs made by TMDK are currently being analysed and evaluated. However, it appears that TMDK did not accept the investigations made by NB and subsequently reported the matter to the police.
