Loan To Deposit Ratios of Nigerian Banks

Deposit Money Banks (DMBs) in Nigeria collect deposit from the customers and from the deposits they issue loans to borrowers. The Central Bank of Nigeria measures the percentage of loans issued by commercial banks to the deposits in their vaults. A higher percentage of loan to deposit ratios suggest DMBs are more aggressive in their lending.

This data is sourced from the Central Bank of Nigeria and is updated monthly.
