The Board of Directors of Lafarge Africa Plc have duly accepted the resignation of Mr. Anders Kristiansson and approved the appointment of Mr. Bruno Bayet as the Chief Financial Officer of the company effective October 1st, 2016.
Mr. Bruno Bayet holds a Business Engineer degree from Universite Catholique de Louvain La Neuve, studied in Georgetown University (MBA Program) and specialized in Financial Risks Management. He was Manager in Corporate Finance with Pricewaterhouse from 1998 to 2005.
He joined Groupe Bruxelle Lambert, aBelgian Holding Company, from 2005 to 2011 in the investment team as senior Analyst. Prior to joining Larfarge in 2014, he was an Executive Committee Member and Chief Finance Officer of Enterprise Generale Malta Forrest in Democratic Republic of Congo from 2011 to 2013, specialized in the mining and construction industry.
He was appointed Director of AshakaCem Plc in December 2013 headin the Expansion and the Power Project in Ashaka and combined the role of CFO of Ashakacem Plc sine September 2014. In April 2016, Bruno was nominated as Strategy Director for Larfarge in Nigeria.
