9) John Dramani Mahama, Ghana (Age: 57) – John Dramani Mahama born 29 November 1958 has been the president of Ghana since July 2012 he served the nation as its vice president between 2009 and 2012. He assumed the office of the president on July 24 2012, when the then president John Mills died. A communication expert, historian, and writer, Mahama was a Member of Parliament from 1997 to 2009 and Minister of Communications from 1998 to 2001. He is a member of the National Democratic Congress party (NDC)
8) Ali Bongo Ondimba, Gabon (Age: 56) – Alain Bernard Bongo born 9 February 1959 has been the president since October 2009. His father Omar Bongo was the president of Gabon from 1967 to 2009, when he died. During his father’s presidency, he was Minister of Foreign Affairs from 1989 to 1991 and represented Bongo Ville as a Deputy in the National Assembly from 1991 to 1999; subsequently he was Minister of Defence from 1999 to 2009. He was the candidate of the Gabonese Democratic Party (GDP) in the August 2009 presidential election, which followed his father’s death.

His father jomo Kenyatta was Kenya’s first President. Uhuru Kenyatta was elected president of Kenya under The National Alliance(TNA), which was part of the Jubilee Alliancewith his running mate William Ruto’s United Republican Party (URP)
6) Macky Sall, Senegal (Age: 54) – Macky Sall born 11 December 1961 has been the President of Senegal since April 2012. He served as the Prime Minister of Senegal under President Abdoulaye Wade and the President of the National Assembly of Senegal from June 2007 to November 2008; He was the Mayor of Fatick from 2002 to 2008 and held that post again from 2009 to 2012. Later He Formed His Own Party Alliance for the Republic after coming to conflict with Wade. He defeated Abdoulaye Wade in the 2012 Presidential election.
5) Pierre Nkurunziza, Burundi (Age: 51) – Pierre Nkurunziza born 18 December 1963 has been the President of Burundi since 2005. He was the Chairman of the National council for the Defence of Democracy – Forces for the Defence of Democracy (CNDO-FDD), the ruling party, until he was elected as President of Burundi. In August 2009, he was awarded the ‘Model Leader for a New Africa Award’by AFREG. In 2015, Nkurunziza was controversially nominated by his party for a third term in office.
4) Yahya Jammeh, The Gambia (Age: 50) – Yahya Jammeh born 25 May 1965 is the President of the Gambia. He was a 29-year old army officer when he assumed power in a 1994 Military coup, the group identified itself as the Armed Forces Provisional Ruling Council (AFPRC), with the 29-year-old Jammeh as its chairman. It was a bloodless coup. He seized power from President Dawda Jawara. Yahya Jammeh was elected to the Office of the president of the Gambia, he was re-elected in 2001, 2006, 2011.
3) Faure Gnassingbe, Togo (Age: 49) – Faure Gnassingbe born 6 June 1966 has been the President of Togo since May 4 2005. He was appointed to the Government by his father as Minister of Equipment, Mines, Posts, and Telecommunications, serving from 2003 to 2005 under union for the republic party. When Gnassingbe Eyeadema passed away on febuary 5 2005, Faure Gnassingbe was appointed the president. Army supported the Appointment.
2) Mswati III, Swaziland (Age: 47) – Mswati III born Prince Makhosetive Dlaminion 19 April 1968 is the king of Swaziland. He is the Swazi Royal Family. He was crowned on April 25 1986. He inherited the kingdom from his father Sobhuza II, the previous king. He was introduced as crown prince in 1983. Assumed power following a 3-year regency at the age of 18. he rules the country as an absolute monarch. Mswati III is known for his practice of polygyny (although at least two wives are appointed by the state) and currently has 15 wives.
1) Joseph Kabila Kabange, D.R. Congo (Age: 44) – known commonly as Joseph Kabila, born 4 June 1971 has been the President of the Democratic Republic of Congo 10 days after the assassination of his father, President Laurent-Desire Kabila. Becoming the world’s youngest at the age of 29. He was elected as the president under People’s Party for Reconstruction and Democracy in 2006 and was re-elected in 2011.
