About 60 per cent of the N100 billion Textile Revival Fund (TRF) has been disbursed by the Bank of Industry (BoI).
The Managing Director of the bank, Ms Evelyn Oputu, made this disclosure during a media training for business reporters in Lagos recently.
Oputu who said that the scope of the fund has been extended to cover all manufacturing activities including garments, in addition to cotton production, spinning, processing and printing, added that it has also sustained some textile businesses which otherwise would have been closed by now.
