Founder – Ugochukwu “ugodre” Obi-chukwu is the founder and Partner at Nairametrics Financial Advocates, owners of Nairametrics.com. Ugodre is a chartered accountant with over 18 years working experience. His work experience covers Accounting, Corporate Finance, Financial Management, Corporate Strategy, Business development, Change Management, and Personal Finance. Partner – E.Okonkwo holds undergraduate degrees in Finance, Accountancy, as well as, a post-graduate degree in Computer Science from universities both in Nigeria and United Kingdom. Additionally, he is a Chartered Accountant (ACCA) with extensive professional exposure within the Financial Services industry based on his work experience with major financial institutions across the globe. He is a keen believer in information arbitrage and tries to explore his interests in travelling when time affords.
General Manager – Christopher B. Pemu has a degree in Political Science from the University of Lagos. Chris has over 10 years’ experience in business development, digital printing, and media. He joined Nairametrics in 2014 as News Editor and later as Managing Editor. He is currently the Acting General Manager at Nairametrics. Head Research/Partner – Edozie Ifebi has previously worked as a business, finance and economics writer for Nigeria’s leading business/finance newspaper. More recently, he worked in research for an economic development consultancy and in the agri-business value chain, on a project that sought to resolve market access problems faced by Nigerian farmers. His areas of interest include Macroeconomics, Public Financial Management, Economic Growth & Development, Agriculture. He writes on business, economics and finance for Nairametrics
Managing Editor – Alfread Akuki has a degree in Counselling Psychology from the Delta State Unversity, Abraka. He has headed the Post-production and Program Scheduling Department of African Broadcasting Network (ABN), and as a Multimedia Editor/Digital Assets Manager of Independent Newsapapers Limited. Alfred is presently Nairametrics’ Managing Editor.
Business Analyst – Abara Emmanuel holds an MSc. in Political Science/International Relations from the University of Ibadan. He also graduated with a B.A in Philosophy from the same institution. He is experienced in such areas as Media/Communications, Administration and Nonprofit. As a Business Analyst at Nairametrics, he focuses on big corporations with equities listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange. He also occasionally writes about the SMEs sector in Nigeria. Content Lead – Chacha Wabara-Ogbobine is a Legal practitioner with over 9 years post call experience. A research Consultant, professional writer and a blogger at heart and owner of four thriving websites with well over 10 years of experience. Totally in love with keeping fit and coaching weight loss enthusiasts. I love my quiet time, being with my kids, watching TV series for hours on end.
Creative Lead – Aluko Meka Emmanuel is a content analyst and Nu Media enthusiast with a diploma in digital marketing and creative publishing from CCT Akure. A graduate of Chemistry from the University of Abuja Nigeria.
Lead Analyst – Onome Ohwovoriole has a degree in Economics and Statistics from the University of Benin. He joined Nairametrics in December 2016 as Lead Analyst prior to which he had stints in Publishing, Automobile Services, Entertainment and Leadership Training. Onome covers companies in the Nigerian corporate space, especially those listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE).

Lead Editor – Anna Urieto holds a Bachelors in English Language and a Masters in International Affairs and Diplomacy from Lagos State University and Ahmed Bello University respectively. She has an eye for details and enjoys reading all genres of fiction. She also has an eclectic taste in music and invests in an ever-growing collection of urban sneakers. Business Analyst – Fikayo Owoeye is an alumnus of Daystar Leadership Academy with a degree in computer science and economics from Obafemi Awolowo University, as well as, an ITIL v3 certificate in IT service management.
Prior to joining Nairametrics, Fikayo had stints in Project management and Telecommunications in addition to his training in Consulting and Investment banking from Edubridge Academy.

Research Assistant – Ibukun Samuel is a graduate of the University of Ilorin where she studied Economics. Her area of interest is Developmental Economics and Data Interpretation. She is passionate about life and an avid believer in a better Nigeria Before now, she has volunteered and convened a campaign on girl child education in Northern Nigeria. She is a member of Toast Masters International.
When she is not working, she enjoys reading stories on Medium, reading blogs and watching fashion issues.
Content Curator – Damilare Famuyiwa is a trained journalist. He holds a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mass Communication at the prestigious Nigerian Institute of Journalism (NIJ). He is an innovative and transformational leader with broad-based expertise in journalism and media practice at large. He has explored his proven ability in the areas of reporting, curating and generating contents, creatively establishing social media engagements, and mobile editing of videos. It is safe to say he’s a multimedia journalist.
