The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE), Oscar Onyema has concluded his tenure as the President of the African Securities Exchanges Association (ASEA).
Onyema’s tenure elapsed as ASEA’s President was disclosed in a statement made available to newsmen by the association.
The CEO, Casablanca Stock Exchange, Karim Hajji, was elected as the President, while Edoh Amenounve was elected as the Deputy President at its 22nd Annual General Meeting.
Hajji, according to the statement, would take over the leadership of the association from Onyema, after he had successfully served two terms as president of ASEA.

The NSE boss served as a primary liaison among various Amex operating divisions, the trading floor community, and external constituents. In addition, he was responsible for strategy and competitive analysis, Membership and Registration Department and Market Data Services
