Guaranty Trust Bank shares crashed to its lowest point in nearly two years as the share price closed Monday December 15th at N21.85. The stock last fell below N22 in December 2012 nearly two years from today. The fall in price continues with the bearish nature of stocks in the latest round of sell-offs that began two weeks ago. GTB still traded as high as N30.8 earlier in October and had a year high of N31.8 which they achieved back in June 2014. GTB’s price earnings ratio is now 7.1x indicating an earnings yield of 14%.
