FG postpones Nigeria at 60 awards

The federal government has announced the postponement of Nigeria at 60 awards ceremony which was earlier scheduled to hold on September 3, 2021.

This was disclosed by Chief Adeniyi Adebayo, the Minister for Industry, Trade and Investment, in a statement by his Special Assistant on Media, Mr Ifedayo Sayo, on Sunday in Abuja.

The Trade Minter said the award ceremony is a part of Nigeria’s Jubilee celebrations of Nigeria’s Independence, to honour 60 notable Nigerians, who had made immense contributions to the nation’s growth.

He added that a new date would be announced and regretted any inconveniences the postponement might have caused stakeholders and the general public.

The special award ceremony was put together by the Ownership Subcommittee of the Nigeria@60 Committee.
