Sometimes when we say Nigeria is rotten and I come across cases like this…I tell myself that Nigeria is not bad afterall. Good judgement!

The behaviour of this man is very typical of most politicians and even mid to top level civil servants. They are quick to condemn corruption and bad governance in public discussions but at work they use their positions to extort money daily from persons or entities whose files must pass thru their offices before treating thei files promptly. In fact in my opinion, rather than point fingers at this man, we need to direct those fingers at ourselves and learn from his travails because from my experience, most adult Nigerians have a similar mindset.

Nigeria is more than rotten. Moreover, an influential man in the person of otedola was the reason they expeditiously trash the case. If Nigeria isn’t rotten then we should have tens of thousands of highly profile politicians and civil servants behind bars and the glaring transformation of Nigeria.
