In this 30 minute long interview Hon Muhammed Kazaure representing Kazaure/Roni/Gwiwa/Yankashi Federal Constituency explains why he was opposed to a motion to lift the embargo on foreign trips and training for public servants. His response will be viewed by many as mostly hilarious, considering the way he gesticulates. Fast forward to the 17th minute if you want to laugh.
For Nairametrics, the interview reveals a far for grim situation considering that the individual is a staunch supporter of the President. His view of the economy buttresses how the president and some of his supporters also views it and how it should be run. The socialist views are scary and we hope this interview is just a one-off.
I was able to listen attentively to the Hon. Kazaure’s interview and his genuine intention to clamp down on his colleagues’ misrepresentation and manipulation of the activities on the floor of the House. I look at this man’s apprehension and genuine desire to see himself and his colleagues to have a new approach to modern and progressive representation at both Houses. What Nigeria needs now is committed Nigerians like Hon. Kasaure to move the country forward in terms of value and self respect that the country seriously need. His interview might constitute informal but portrays some degree of seriousness which his colleagues in the House must respect and adhere to. Conclusively, I commend the representation of Hon Kasaure in this interview as greatly educative, timely and laudable. Let others in the House emulate his demeanor and Nigeria will be proud of each and every one of them. To me, the interview was worth the effort and not a waste of time.
