I conducted a snap poll on twitter on who is to blame for Nigeria’s current economic problems giving voters the option of former President Goodluck Jonathan, Current President Buhari, CBN Governor Godwin Emefiele and former Coordinating Minister of the Economy Okonjo Iweala. The poll was conducted using twitter’s poll application and cannot be said to be scientific. However, it is perhaps a reflection of what a lot of Nigerians currently think. See the results bellow;
Poll is complete. We have our villain. BUHARI IS TO BLAME FOR NIGERIA'S ECONOMIC SITUATION pic.twitter.com/3LFPIJfjUs

Even though every nigerians are entitle to their own opinon, however, even some of the educative ones may be bias, tribal or sectional when it comes to analysis on what is happening to the economy. We are all part of what is happening to the economy and the country in general.
I wonder how so many of our countrymen think! How could a man who is spending less than a year in office in a time of financial drought be responsible for the recklessness and wanton waste of 7 good years of plenty and abundance. I stand to be corrected those who are calling for Buhari’s head needs their heads examined, their bank accounts investigated and their homes ransacked! Nigerians detest “made in Nigeria products”! Imagine how much was spent on champaigne drinks alone-It was the highest in the World! How could a responsible country waste her foreign exchange on such vanity!! Nigerians are responsible for where Nigeria is not buhari.
This is insane!! How can this be? As far as I am concerned, Buhari still remains the MOST HONEST and prudent Head of State Nigeria has ever had. Anyway, most Nigerians do not want to hear the truth. GEJ destroyed the country and on the other hand , he was just a circumstantial leader who never had an aspiration for leadership but happened to wear the crown by accident.
If Nigeria could have BUHARI type of leadership in a row for a period of say 20 years, Nigeria would be a great turn around country.
i says it’s GEJ and Mrs Iweala fault.we are part of Nigeria sentiments or not.Nigerians should not forgets Mrs iweala was fired by mr president Chief Obasanjo,and was replaced and demoted.Nigerian also should not forgets,her junior minister of finance(I may mistaken misspell her name,and I think her name is nene usman) replaced her,an energic black woman. a big humiliation.
To have knowledge and do nothing for the benefit of the nation,is a sign of mental illness,now why did GEJ employed her again ?is it because she did a good job ?.a man act according to his personality,knowledge,spirit,Nigerians should not forget that president Buhari spent half of his young age in he army,and a moslem,there’s a chance,he will be narrow in his thinking.so any body that blame president Buhari is very much premature,and blame should be on all nigerians.WE SHOULD OFFER CONSRUCTIVE CRITICISM TO OUR PRESIDENT, ,MR BUHARI CANNOT DECIEVE NIGERIANS WILLING.IF HE DECIEVES US NIGERIANS IT’S BECA– USE OF LACK OF KNOWLEDGE AND EDUCATION.
We should support incoming govt,.why the previous govt did not through the O.D M guarantee expenditure of local govt annual budgets,extra budget about a minimum of 10 billion naira.local govt are allowed to raises 10 billion naira in municipal/local govt bond,i assumes local govt area needs about 60 billion naira over 5 or 10 yrs.this will create employment,even in rural area.L.G .A can fund post-high school.hospital.built bridges,fund trams,beatifies towns.this will pushes the spirit of Nigerians,improves the moods of Nigeria.
The D.M.O can discount this debt,because of the raises in inflation in nigera,says discount of 200 : 1, 50 :1#this will open the eonomy.nigerians should not forget we have more tribes of 300tribes.some tribes are located in not more than 2 l.G.A,such tribes will feels like king in their l.g.a. and in Nigeria,their existence as a person.this l.g.a should be able to pay this debt.
I am not impressed by her P.H.D,in 10 yrs Nigeria will/can be in the top 10 country in power.production,infulences,a great country.i did not studied economic or history but law,so there is choices in nigeria.no matter whoses ministry were you are in.if those who cannot do their job,they should resigin,and lets another take their job
8months after and it’s still GEJ’s fault. Please when are we going to start blaming Buhari?
