- EKO Electricity Distribution Plc (EKEDP) has announced a corporate restructuring plan, which will maximally boost electricity distribution mandate to the public.
- It noted that the new plan, which include the procurement of 140,000 new meters, is expected to improve efficiency, customer service and value to its numerous customers.
- According to the company in a statement, the ongoing re-organisational efforts are to support Eko Disco’s commitment to fulfilling its vision “to be the leading customer centric utility provider in Africa”.
- The statement disclosed that EKEDP in its commitment to excellence with a multitude of quality service delivery across various platforms is introducing an extensive range of payment options aimed at unifying its billing/payment and customer enquiries systems alongside the pioneering of an unprecedented embedded power generation initiative, an effort that promises to more than double the company’s current allocation from the national grid.
