Reports reaching Nairametrics suggest Human Resources department of some companies have been asking employees to go home. Some major commercial banks and multinationals, fearing post election skirmishes have asked their employees to close early on Monday. Some companies have also been reported to have told their employees not to even report to work on Tuesday.
The move is seen as a precautionary one for their employees and is not unconnected with some of the reports of violence heard in oil rich Rivers State and some parts of the South South.
