- The Nigerian Stock Exchange on Friday says a total of about N303 billion in foreign portfolio investment flowed out of Nigeria in the first 6 months of the year.
- This compared to a total inflow of N285.4 billion for the first 6 months of the year.
- Thus a total FPI net outflow of just N8 billion exited the stock market
- The data also reveals there has been a net outflow for every other month except April and June 2015.
- The report also shows about 52.8% of transactions in the NSE was driven by FPI with 47% driven by domestic funds.
